I too have gone through numerous phases where I've deleted every last trace of my poetry. And I'm not usually in a good frame of mind when I am compelled to do that.
So I am wondering, what's at the heart of this?

Too bad you deleted everything. Clearly there were some people who liked your stuff, even if you didn't. Maybe you're trying to do better, but I thought trying was the problem in the first place.
